I think 2 words best describe me… Craft Crazy !!!

…. designing … creating … handcrafting … camping, walking and the outdoors …. just some of the things I love ….

I’ve been pretty passionate about making stuff since I can remember …. as a young girl growing up on the farm in Tzaneen, I would often be busy with creating cards, making jewellery, sewing clothes for my dolls when I wasn’t outdoors playing or climbing trees. I spent many hours discovering bits and bobs that I could use from my mom’s treasure chest of ribbons, material, buttons and old beads.
Since then, my love for making handmade gifts has grown. I have a craft hobby house in my garden where I love bringing ideas to life. Wherever possible I up-cycle and recycle paper, card, ribbons, etc. It is hugely rewarding to see new life given to previously loved items.

My dilemma is … too many ideas and too little time … !!!

My husband is my greatest help and biggest supporter. During office hours we run our own graphic design company THE DESIGN SPOT, a web design division THE WEB SPOT, and technical drawings are done at TECHNI-DRAW.

I believe that there is unique creativity that God has placed within each of us… I am loving the journey of discovering all that is rooted within me.
